The historical contexts of African-American ancestors have been treacherously misrepresented. Africans have produced several of the most powerful civilizations in the history of the world. Before our ancestors’ enslavement, we were among the most respectful inventors, philosophers, priests, leaders of empires, builders, agriculturalists, explorers, physicians, and artists of various media since the creation of human kind. It is time to rewrite our history and reveal the truth about our ancestors from the perspective of African people through traditional and new and innovative ways of seeing.
