This painting was created to depict the strength and endurance of Black people around the world, because of our ancestors will to survive the most horrendous form of slavery ever in the history of humans inflicted upon them by humankind. We are starting to rise once more on the world stage. However, the battle is not over. The battle for human rights instead of civil rights has just begun. We must retake our rightful place in the annals of human history in order to complete our black sunrise into the heavens once more.
