During the summer of 2002, I was invited to be an assistant to an artist friend at the Penland School of Crafts in the Appilachi Mountains of North Carolina. I t was like being in art heven for two weeks. This is a linoleum cut that I created in the printmaking studio, based on my experience while I was there.
