As I was relaxing one sunny briezy day on the second floor pourch of one of the studio buildings at the Penland School of Crafts Art Colony, I noticed the unique silhouette of this plant hanging from a beam. The setting of the sun during this particular time of day, gave the imppression that the plant was silhouette after the photopragh was developed.This serigraph has three colors. I used a screen printing technique that allowed me to developed multiple stencils with one screen instead of three screens.
